As a small discrete device, the remote has conquered all households. Whether for the television, the radio, the garage door ... this little gadget has become, over time, an irreplaceable object.

A bit of history

The first remote control was built in 1956. It used the technique of ultrasound and its inventors - Robert Adler and Eugene Polley – won countless awards.

Nowadays, there are three types of remote controls. Infrared transmitters use a light beam, which is invisible to the human eye and where the remote must be pointed to the device. To allow a good service, no object should be in the way may between remote and device. You have to admit, you can’t live without "zapping". If the remote control is defective or hidden, you feel useless, almost unable to walk directly to the TV. You turn into a lost something without your magic weapon. The remote control has invaded our lives. These little machines are perfected every day and even start to think for themselves, with our tablets and smartphones becoming remotes.
